Regarding
Group
Lessons:
·
If
you have more than one person in a 30 min
session you will not get as much one-on-one; if there are questions I
will have
to take them one at a time and it is not as productive.
·
I
prefer meeting students individually.
Studio Rules and
Etiquette:
Learning about the
voice and playing guitar are
exciting and enriching activities. They are also ones that require a
serious
commitment to practice and lessons. I'm sure you'll agree with my
philosophy
that discipline and persistence are necessary
in order to for any goal worth achieving. It is with this philosophy in
mind
that I ask for you to adhere
to my
studio requirements:
Cancellation Policy:
If
a student needs to cancel a lesson for any
reason, I must be notified 24-hours before the start time of the lesson
(unless
it is a life threatening emergency). This gives me sufficient time to
schedule
another student during that time slot. Otherwise, the student is
required to
pay for the lesson.
When it is possible, I will make up the
lesson in one of three ways:
1. We can reschedule for another time during the day of the original
lesson.
2. We can make time on another day during the same week.
3. I can make myself available for the lesson in a subsequent week.
Lesson Preparation:
I expect all my students to be prepared prior to
every lesson, guitars tuned, lesson assignment signed and completed by
parents
(if applicable) and if vocal lessons, vocal warm-ups prior to lesson.
